To fill in the time this afternoon we popped along to Shanghai Aquarium, home of the worlds largest viewing tunnel at 155m in length.
Descriptions in both Chinese and English made the event much more enjoyable, however the differences in health and safety laws was obvious.
In a section dedicated to saving sharks from being hunted for their fins there was a shallow pool holding baby sharks, with a low level side they will, when there is someone around, let you stroke them.
Within the aforementioned area there was also a tank which contained shark eggs. These eggs were back lit so you could see the developing embryo swimming within it.
