Yak is best described as a slightly dryer (dependant on cooking) beef like meat. Very good in its flavour, we went for 2 dishes. 1 crispy fried yak (similar to that of duck) and one in a stew with potatoes and red chillies, that you do not touch :)
Accompanied by Tibetan beer and a traditional Tibetan band (pic) the restaurant and evening were extremely enjoyable.
