Have arrived in Shanghai to low fog, as the plane was coming in to land I could not see the end of the wing.... luckily the captain is obviously well trained :)
Shanghai airport to the centre of town is about 50miles, we covered that in about 7mins on the Maglav train. Today the Maglav was apparently not at full speed, only 180mph, hopefully will see 250mph when we land from Hong Kong next week.
As for Shanghai itself, have not seen a lot.... i am staying with friends on the 56th floor (pics to follow when weather clears). We have take a couple of interesting taxi rides to get flowers for the birthday we are at this evening, and will be off to Aquarium to fill time before dinner and drinks later..... bar is on 104th floor.
Being scared of heights, would provide some interesting situations.
